This year’s "Rising Scholars in Finance" conference, took place on 9 September 2026 at the University of Zurich. The event was hosted and organized by PhD Candidates of our Department of Finance.

PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from different backgrounds were invited to share their work and connect with people from the UZH Finance faculty and other universities. The goal is to give young researchers a platform to present their research and have senior discussants provide feedback through discussions.

The 2026 conference concluded with a keynote speech by Prof. Andreas Fuster, who will join our department as Full Professor of Finance as of 1 October 2026.
