Rising Scholars in Finance 2026
The third annual conference will feature a keynote address by Prof. Andreas Fuster (EPFL) and is organized by PhD Candidates of the UZH Department of Finance
We’re excited to announce this year’s "Rising Scholars in Finance" conference, which will take place on 9 September 2026. The event is hosted and organized by PhD Candidates of our Department of Finance.
We invite PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from different backgrounds to share their work and connect with people from the UZH Finance faculty and other universities. The goal is to give young researchers a platform to present their research and have senior discussants provide feedback through discussions.
The 2026 conference will conclude with a keynote speech by Prof. Andreas Fuster from EPFL and Swiss Finance Institute. Andreas Fuster will join our department as Full Professor of Finance as of 1 October 2026.
