Quantitative Finance Program Ranked Nr. 1 in Europe
The Master of Science in Quantitative Finance (UZH–ETH) is once again ranked No. 1 in Europe and has advanced to No. 4 worldwide in the Risk.net ranking
The Master of Science UZH ETH in Quantitative Finance continues to be recognized as Europe’s leading program for future quants and finance professionals.
In the latest Risk.net ranking of quantitative finance master’s programs, the joint degree of the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich has once again ranked No. 1 in Europe and advanced to No. 4 worldwide, reaffirming its strong reputation in mathematical finance and financial engineering.
This international recognition builds on a strong track record: already in 2023, Risk.net ranked the MSc UZH ETH in Quantitative Finance number 1 in Europe and 7th worldwide.
Since its launch, applications have more than doubled, while cohort sizes have remained deliberately small – with around 30 students and 23 graduates per year – to ensure close supervision and a demanding learning environment.
Industry partners such as Axpo Group, EFG International, Finreon AG,LGT Capital Partners, OLZ AG, Qube Research & Technologies, Robeco, UBS, WTW, and Zanders play a key role in keeping the curriculum close to practice and offering students exposure to frontier topics in quantitative finance.
These constant top placements are only possible thanks to the commitment of many stakeholders: highly motivated students and alumni, a dedicated teaching faculty and staff at UZH and ETH, and a strong network of guest lecturers, business partners and sponsors.”
