Welcome Apero Fall 2025/26 Quantitative Finance
Student meeting on 17 September 2025 in the Dozentenfoyer at ETH
As every year, new and current students of the Master of Science UZH ETH in Quantitative Finance (MScQF) Program were invited to a welcome apero at the beginning of the new semester.
About 70 students met on 17 September 2025 in the ‘Dozentenfoyer’ at ETH Zurich and were able to interact with each other as well as with lecturers and professors.
Prof. Walter Farkas welcomed the participants with an opening speech, followed by some words from Prof. Dr. Josef Teichmann (Head of the Department of Mathematics, ETH) about the Quantitative Finance Master’s program, Antonello Cirulli (President of the Alumni Organisation ZQFA) regarding the Alumni Club and Sarah Wikus about the possibility of starting a PhD at the Department of Finance after completing the Master's degree.
The weather, people, vibes, food and drinks - fit together perfectly and it was a successful evening. Let’s look forward to a successful semester!
