SGF Conference 2027

Chaired by Prof. Alexander Wagner and organized by the Department of Finance at the University of Zurich

We are pleased to announce that the 29th Annual Meeting of the Swiss Society for Financial Market Research (SGF Conference) 2027 will again be chaired by Alexander Wagner, Professor of Finance and Vice Dean for Continuing Education and Alumni, organized by our department.

The conference brings together leading researchers and academics to share top-quality research, foster collaboration, and advance discussions on current topics in finance.

Poster Session

  • A dedicated poster session with eight accepted posters will be held during the conference, giving doctoral students and early-career researchers the opportunity to present their work and engage in discussion with conference participants.

Building on the Success of SGF 2026

The SGF Conference 2026 was a great success, bringing together leading researchers and practitioners from around the world for a day of academic exchange in the heart of Zurich.

The conference continued to strengthen its position as one of the premier research meetings in finance. Interest from the academic community reached a new high, with a substantial increase in paper submissions and a highly competitive selection process resulting in an strong scientific program.

Throughout the conference day at the SIX ConventionPoint, participants benefited from lively paper sessions, insightful discussions, PhD poster sessions, and numerous opportunities for networking and collaboration. The smooth organization and welcoming atmosphere created a pleasant environment.
